CPV Manufacturing was established in Philadelphia, PA in 1915. Since the very beginning our philosophy and focus was to stay true to our core values and capabilities. For over a century now we have only manufactured the highest quality valves and fittings.

During the early 1950’s our design engineers worked with the United States Navy and designed a line of high pressure couplings to help launch aircraft at sea. From there, our O-SEAL® Product line (O-Ring Face Seal) was born and has become a standard, used on the entire fleet of aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines.

Fast forward to 2016, CPV has partnered around the world with engineering companies and has been the single source in supplying our valves and fittings in Low Density Polyethylene and Linear Low-Density Polyethylene refineries.

Additionally, CPV is the recognized leader in the compressed gas industry supplying our products to Air Liquide/Airgas, Air Products, Linde/Praxair, Matheson and Messer. CPV valves operate in high pressure applications up to 6000 psig (select products to 7500 psig) for critical gases such as Hydrogen, Helium, Oxygen, Argon, CO2, mixed gases and specialty gases.
