Tungum tubing has been used without failure for over 40 years in safety critical gas related applications. These include Oxygen lines in gas production plants, dive support vessels and hyperbaric chamber applications. The exceptional Oxygen compatibility of Tungum tubing was recently revalidated to support its use in these areas. Tests were carried out by BAM to the stringent globally recognised ASTM G124 standard with excellent results.

These results, together with the inherent clean bore and non-sparking properties, underpin the use of Tungum tubing as a material of choice for O2 applications.Connecting Tungum tubing is exactly the same as any other instrumentation tubing system and can be safely used with either 37° flare fittings or stainless steel twin ferrule fittings.
